No-Knockoffs Policy

Some retailers or marketplace sellers are either unscrupulous in their sourcing or intentionally deceptive, which leads them to offer counterfeit products in their stores.

CAW Me Curious is not the same.

Counterfeit products are almost universally disappointing, poor-quality, and in many cases, illegal. We take our collectibles seriously. Very seriously. We don't want counterfeit products any more than our customers do, and for that reason, we have a No-Knockoffs Policy.

What does this mean? It means we meticulously vet our suppliers for legitimacy instead of searching for the lowest price and blindly clicking the submit order button. It means we would consider it completely unethical to sell counterfeit products ourselves. And it means that you can rest assured you will not receive a counterfeit product from us.

Nobody is perfect, and for that reason, we acknowledge that fake items may slip past our defenses. It's not at all likely, but it could happen. If it does happen, and you receive one of these counterfeit items, please let us know immediately. 

The Knockoff Procedure

  • 1) Do not throw away the box or its contents!

    We may need the box and all its contents to evaluate the item's authenticity.

  • 2) Send us an email.

    Tell us you suspect we sold you a counterfeit, and include any photo and/or video evidence you have to support that claim.

  • 3) We investigate.

    We will review your evidence and determine the next best steps for handling your case. Please see below for details.

      We absolutely want to know if any of our items are counterfeit, so that we can blacklist the supplier. Please report fakes to us as soon as possible so that it's easier for us to trace the origin of the item.
